Quantify yourself is one of the trends which require advanced body sensor applications. Interactive Wear provides application specific, distributed on-body sensor systems, ready for integration into garments or accessories. The customer defines the sensor positions at medically validated locations to measure data, textile cables enable superior synchronization without compromises in comfort for the user.
We support our customers with configurable sensor systems to provide solutions for tracking physical activities, posture, heart and respiration rate. With the support of sensor fusion and machine learning techniques we offer the development of systems for training and monitoring during work, sports and rehabilitation.
Haptic feedback is a concept to provide a immediate, intuitive feedback to the user. Beside optical and acoustical feedback channels, the haptic feedback is well suited to to work in harsh environments. We develop haptic feedback systems with multiple cyclic and linear rotary motors, integrated in textiles attached to the skin. The motors are controlled by an autonomous system which measures, computes and provides different vibration pattern.
We provide e-textile sensors including the electronics to digitize the sensor values. Interactive Wear is part of initiatives to develop new functional materials and sensors. An example of such a solution is a respiration sensor, based on our elastic textile cable. By stretching the cable an inductive change is triggered, which can be measured and analyzed.
